Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Ultimate Sith Edition PC-version never should've been released .
The game is relatively nice as a story line , without any spoilers the game revolves around you trying to kill the Emperor of the sith . You'll learn that in the 5th-8th minute of the game so it's not a big spoiler .
Now what's good about the game : graphics - fine , effects - good,
movement and combat - very nice .
Now what is the major problem in the game !
Aside from the here and there cliched moments in the story that are to much like the Star Wars movies we've watched , the PC version should've been named " The Ultimate Glitch Edition ",
after waiting for 2 years after the release of the PC version and the 2 patches that were made to "fix" most of the glitches i can say NEVER consider buying the game NEVER!
The game may be good on other platforms to play but it obviously never flushes the memory it uses on PC because even if you cover the recommended requirements and have 4GB RAM and the game "should" need 2 , 4 aren't enough for a normal play trough one would need between 14 and 24 GB of RAM , I've experienced it 1st hand when you start the game you go at 60+ FPS after the 1st time you die (if you play it hard difficulty like me it's possible you'll die here and there ) so after you die the game takes another 500-700MB RAM for no reason it doesn't flush the already reserved memory it just picks some more and your FPS lowers to about 30-42 frames after 1 dieing now you die once more ,because assume you're on a boss, same thing happens , so your fps drops some more after the 3rd-4th time the game glitches on every lighting slash or shock strike you make after the 2 patches the game issues with the glitching audio on Realtek HD Audio using devises was fixed now only the real issue remains . So in conclusion if you do not own a PS3 or Xbox360 buy one or go play the game at the arcades because if you buy the game (like me pre-ordered ) you'll have it gathering dust soon after.
The story is good but Aspyr and Lucas arts really screwed up on that one and never really tried to fix it, now there are no patches for it on the official site it's not even mentioned there's only The Force Unleashed 2, the support for the 1st game for PC has been removed and the patches remain only on torrents for the little people who still want to try and play even though the way to play includes total nerve meltdown and uncountable amount of restarts so your memory refreshes and after you finish the game you'll never want it on your system again EVER the uninstallation was the best part of the game !
