A fun game, some of the parts are very impressive, but it did not live up to my expectations at all.
For example, I can remember a time when I was required to beat some Bounty Hunter, I think, and if I even came close to him, I was dead. I ended up running around the arena throwing shots at him every 5 minutes or so (to me and friends, called the "Cheat Method"), and after replaying that part around 3 times, I have never been able to beat it without using the "Cheat Method".
But enough with the negatives, this game was very fun to play. The one thing that made this game all it was, was the force. You were able to throw things, no matter the size, at your enemies for major killing. Laying waste to an army of troopers with one large piece of metal in one swipe feels very rewarding, and throwing troopers at other troopers is fun to do as well.
However, these fun force mechanics soon got old, as you played nearly the same levels over and over, except with different enemies, environments, and things to throw. The bosses aren't all that fun, if you want an idea on how you generally have to beat them, refer to my second paragraph. One of the things I did like about the bosses is THEIR variety of attacks. Sometimes you would kill a huge Rancor that would kill you in one swipe. Sometimes you will kill Jedi who perform a variety of Light Saber tricks.
Final Verdict: An alright game that will get old quick, but luckily it doesn't take too long to beat. Although the missions are very repetitive, that does not mean that they aren't still enjoyable. If you are a die-hard fan of Star Wars, and have been waiting desperately for that one Star Wars game to come out on the Wii, then I can recommend you this game. Otherwise, I suggest you rent it to see what you think, and then buy it (assuming you didn't beat the game in the period you spent renting it).
