Finally i played it after what 2 or 3 years since it came out. And to tell you truth, i wasn't that impressed with the game. Let's start with the good qualities of the game. It has a really good story. It actually interests you and that's the only thing that keeps you from turning off your game console. I was really hooked into the story. It tells the tale of how Darth Vadar (Anakin Skywalker) finds an apprentice in a planet that he visits and over the years, he trains him to be one of the best of the best. The guy's name is Starkiller (wierd name) and he is sent out to kill the few remaining jedis out there. It's pretty cool, because for once you get to be evil in a Star Wars game. Now, time for the millions of disappointments. The controls and gameplay issues are a big disappointment of the game. That's the most disappointing. When i wanted to aim at this guy, the target thingymajig targeted some object that i could care less about. Well, yeah that's pretty much what i mean by gameplay issues. The controls suck, period. During boss fights, i wanted to target the boss and throw a lightsaber at him and instead it ending up throwing it at some distant wall for some reason. All the levels are pretty much the same with the exception of the stunning settings (some of them). It's always you going through the level killing baddies and at the very end, there's a boss fight. Same thing in every level. It gets really repetitive after a while, just like Assassin's Creed did. Some of the boss fights can be real tough (i ruined my controller pretty badly playing this game) and some require strategy. The ending is satisfying and is actually decent compared to all the crappy endings of nowaday games. The graphics can be great at times especially when you're visiting those jungle-like settings. There can be a couple of glitches throughout the game. I don't know, something about this game just pissed me off everytime i played it, whether it was real challenging or the gameplay issues. The main reason it's so challenging is probably cuz of the gameplay issues. There's a system called Force Upgrades in which you collect force points throught levels and spend them at this place which can be accessed by pausing the game. Then, there's the ability to change the color of your lightsaber. The game is not too long and took about 4 or 5 hours to beat which is not really long at all. I don't want to spoil the game for you guys. So, the only thing you will find decent in this game is the story. There is no lasting appeal or however you call it, because there is no multiplayer whatsoever and they don't give you anything to want to play the game all over again. Exceptions are you might want to go through the levels again and gather more force points to upgrade more or unlock all the lightsaber colors but that's pretty much it. I didn't get a lot from this game and i'm helping you save your money by telling you this game just deserves a rent. Rent it and if you're really that big of a Star Wars fan to play it over and over again, maybe you can buy it if you really like it. But again, i've been waiting to play this game and now that i have, i don't think i should've been wanting to play the game that bad if you know what i mean.
