Shows great promise, this game does

User Rating: 6.5 | Star Wars: The Force Unleashed X360
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is set between Episode III and Episode IV. The story tells the tale of Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret apprentice who hunts down the last remaining Jedi. However, along his mission, he plays a crucial role in the foundation of the Rebel Alliance.

Good things about the game

1) Story: The game packs an amazing story. As you play the game, you feel like your in Star Wars movie. It has the drama, intensity, action, romance and intrigue that you would expect from a Star Wars movie. Starkiller's road to redemption is one worth taking.

2) Graphics: Graphic wise, the game looks absolutely amazing. Characters and locations look absolutely amazing

3) Action packed: If the prequel trilogy did anything right, they brought in some amazing action scenes. the Force Unleashed gives you that style of action and pumps it up on steroids. All the ridiculous things you see Starkiller do in the trailers, you can actually do in the game, which is an added plus.

4) Nostalgia: Many of your favorite characters from the saga make an appearance in the Force Unleashed. characters like Darth Vader, Princess Leia, Emperor Palpatine, R2D2 and many others.

5) First Mission: the first mission of the game you play as Darth Vader. And if that isn't a plus for any Star Wars fan then idk what is.

Here's some aspects about the game that wasn't too great

1) Too Unleashed?: The game overall is just too easy. from the moment the game starts, you are essentially invincible, easily mowing down storm troopers like their just flies. although you can upgrade to make yourself more invincible, there's no point. ultimate power makes the experience boring at times and not very challenging.

2) Short: The game commits a crime in that it gives the players an amazing story that is completed in under 10 hours. By the time you get truly hooked, you'll already be done with 75% of the game.

3) Recycling: in real life, recycling is good. In video games, it's considered laziness. There is no new music for the game and they just reuse the music from the movie saga (which isn't too bad in itself cause Star Wars always has amazing music). The same planets are also reused from the second half of the game.

Hopefully, the Force Unleashed II will be better than the first game. but overall the game is very good, not masterpiece worthy though. not worth a full 60 bucks though, try to get it used or rent it if possible.
