A Simple Yet Fun Star Wars Management Game

I'm not one to play mobile games. I have my 3DS with me at all times for that, but something about this game drew me to it (it being free and Star Wars helped). This is a game where you have a tower-like setup and you need to build and manage different floors. Each floor represents a different function (like having a food floor, or a research floor). The whole point is to build a really big and successful Death Star where you make lots of money and keep your 'bitizens' happy.

As you progress, The Emperor will give you specific tasks to complete that will net you a bonus. This is nice, because it always makes sure there is some solid goal you are working towards. Another nice feature of this game, which definitely helps to make the game accessible for mobile players (who need something that they can play in quick bursts) is that your progress happens over time. All you need to do is sign in for a couple minutes to manage your resources then let the game do the work for you. While the concept is fairly simple, it is oddly addictive. I do like that it doesn't require a large amount of my attention in order to enjoy it either.

A nice thing to round out the package is that it has exclusive 'bitizens' who will visit you who are actual Star Wars characters (like Jar Jar, who managed to destroy one of my bars single handedly). It's nice because you have a gallery where you can view all the different people and places you've visited and made. It's a nice, simple and fun game that caters to the inner Star Wars, management and collection fan in all of us.

My one complaint is that there is no multiplayer component that compels me to visit a friend's Death Star. That being said, this is still a fun game to while away some bored minutes while you wait in line or sit in the bus.
