I find out on web - somewhere ! - that Star Wolves is somehow the next Freelancer ! Well , he is not , but is a different and enjoyable experience , a mixed strategy/rpg game that make you think . The learning curve is hard only if you rely on tutorial , who don`t explain all the easy option to beat the game . Mainly is a black / white game , because you have two predefined options - freedom or power - to choose in the end , but the missions are straighforward at easy level and suicide at hard level , when the manual is no more a reliable source of information about enemy ships , fighters and tactics . I don`t get into missions description , so try to buy and play it . The experience is envigorating and some thinking about levelling your mercs didn`t hurt anyone .
