This Gamespot review proves Gamespot are incapable of producing anything 'professional'. Full Stop.
1st- Battlenet.
It sucks. Full stop.
Connection issues, No Lan, Busy servers whatever. End of the day its not dedi servers and we all hated mw2 because of it.
Fixed Isometric camera- Er what year is it? Whats the point in nice shiny 3d units? Yes you can spin it but its still fixed.
Projectiles- Or lack of, sounds silly but when things get intence its hard to tell who is shooting at who.
Gore/Physics. Again gore although a nice touch is completly random and physics on buildings don't exsist its all pre-recorded animation no real interaction with the enviroment ..
1 campain. Yes its been set up so it can be replayed but lets not forget there is just 1 and sc2 is at a premium price!
Nothing major but can you see how all these points add up and any pro reviewer would be hard pressed to ignore them all in the final score.
Either Gamespot are trying to win favour with Blizzard or they have been directly bought out who knows. Just ignore the writing look at the vids and screens and decide for yourself. Its a good game but nothing special and if your like me and never really bothered with the first other than a bit of fancy CGI it's just your standard RTS. We all want something different from an RTS and if your a SC fan then Im sure you will love this however for the rest of us yeah its good but nowhere near as good as these people make out.
