As a long time follower of Starcraft Brood War, I was soo pleased when they announced the follow up Starcraft 2. I got the beta key and never stopped playing. Starcraft 2 follows in Brood war's steps. Perfectly balanced game play, Massively Competitive Pro scene, impossibly high skill level and pushing the boundaries of esports further and further. Look at MLG 35 million viewers, last MLG event mostly thanks to Starcraft 2.
Now for the positive parts of the actual game play:
Single player is perfect campaign is very interesting and loads of blizzard easter eggs, about 20 hours. Multiplayer is excellent with a ranked ladder so beginners can play in an environment which suits them and hard core players can play against their bitter rivals. Loads of fun custom games made by the custom map people which range from tower defence to a dota remake.
Negative aspects of SC2
There are 3 points only
- NO LAN
- Campaign could have been longer
- BN 2 is not everything it is cracked up to be
I stand by my rating of 10, this game is perfect.
