If you're ever with a group of nerds or game enthusiasts (as some wish to be known as,) you might come across a few games that you can relate to. If there is one game that everyone in the room can relate to, I bet that that game would be Starcraft. So as you can imagine, this game is very popular; played all over the globe. The gameplay is reminiscent of Warcraft, and yet quite the opposite. I personally like the feudal era more, but this game is great, as well. You have three distinct races: Terrans (humans that are given this name I guess to describe where they come from by other species,) they tend to be good at defence. Zerg (an alien species with low intelligence, but gifted with raw fighting power,) and Protoss (they look more like terrans, but contain a unique ability to forge "psi," which is a fictitious energy, perhaps related to eastern philosophy.) Each race is given its own strengths and weaknesses. Overall the gameplay is pretty flawless. The graphics are fine. The music is superb. Buy it.
