Great, Even the times could not wear this game out.

Starcraft is no joke, even after its original release about a decade ago. The Battle.net is still bristling with players, and this allows for a brimming multiplayer action.

Campaign: Campaign does have its own flaws: for the enemies tend to have bigger forces that look threatening but are not insurmountable in the long run. But the plot is palatable, and the special conditions do add flavor. I am not much of an campaign fan, but i have seen certain campaign missions.

Skirmish and Orthodox Multiplayer (General Gameplay): Blizzard's AI is relatively good: the AI can harass undefended expansions and use abilities, which is lacking in some other RTS titles. Although in such manners the AI is great, it does not effectively emulate a human player: they are much more difficult to crack with artifice: it is very unlikely to use reaver drops on a AI faction. The AI also does not perform as well on money maps. In terms of multiplayer, Blizzard does a great job, (when a infinite range nuke hack was found out, it was patched almost immediately). Blizzard maintains a pleasurable environment. In the gameplay part of orthodox multiplayer. the usually the Big Game Hunter and money maps classified "Fastest" are the predominant ones: It is very difficult to introduce new maps into the orthodox multiplayer group. Otherwise, gameplay is excellent and multiplayer factors are great.

Unorthodox multiplayer: The addition of UMS (Use Map Settings) made Starcraft a great game as it allows for deviation from the norm and allow for almost anything as the triggers allow it. One may even play adapted versions of RPGs, although lacking in abilities/graphics or certain mechanics, sure beats some other alternatives. Another may go sandbox in certain UMS maps classified "RP"s, basically a do-everything map allowing for almost anything from spawning units to altering their hitpoints. UMS tends to be more diverse than the orthodox multiplayer games, which revolve around two trite maps.
