Expanding on the already astounding gameplay of the original Starcraft, Brood War produces 3 more fun and challenging campaigns that will challenge you at every turn. It makes you make decisions, some affecting just the level, others affecting future levels, such as choosing between destroying Nuke Silos or Physics Labs. Then, the map editor allows for great customization, from creating just a simple 1 vs 1 map, or to setting up triggers and spawns to recreate popular movie or game battles, such as Helms Deep. Plus, the online multiplayer challenges ones ability to multitask and outwit their opponent. These great traits and good quality of animation despite its age makes Starcraft: Brood War the #1 P.C. game of all time in my book. If anyone enjoys a great challenge that one can customize for online play, Starcraft is the way to go.
