Leaves an awkward taste in your mouth, but it's so good, you'll be playing nonstop.
The game is basically a port of the PS2 version which was released just a year earlier. They have added some brand new features, but it’s still the same as the PS2 version. You choose from two characters to play as and eventually you can unlock the rest. You can go around in 4 different levels and kill people, cops, and destroy everything to rack up massive amounts of points. The four levels that they offer is really a small amount. You can choose the mall, for example, and you have several different modes you can play. But to play a mode, you have to beat the other ones. The main one is Chaos mode which is where you run around and kill people and earn points for it. You only have a limited amount of time though, but luckily you can collect clocks to add more time. After you set a high score, you can play some other games which still involve killing innocent people. Last Clone Standing is the same except there are no cops that will chase you and try to kill you.
Despite all of that, the graphics are great. Every city is detailed and destructible. Simply throwing a grenade or a Molotov cocktail inside a window of a building can cause it to collapse and kill tons of people.
The soundtrack is basically your own music. Now you can listen to any songs you have on your Xbox’s hard drive and kill people at the same time. There really is no original music in the game so you are forced to listen to your own. So you’d better go and buy more CD’s!
There are a huge selection of firearms to use and they all range from AK-47’s to the previously mentioned Molotov cocktails. All of these weapons are available for you to use and all feature the same purpose, killing.
While the whole arcade style of the game is basically killing civilians, it can get boring after a while. The game leaves an awkward taste in your mouth, and leaves you wanting for more. However, even though the modes are all extremely repetitive, this game will have you continuously playing to try and beat your original score.
