Wow, this game gave me some mixed reactions, but I will say this: Rockstar's worst work.

Well, thi game is alright, but it needs some work, it is nowhere near the constant masterpeices that Rockstar has been having lately. Case it point: GTA: San Andreas. The gameplay, what can I say. This game is absolute fun for those big fans out beat em' up mindless weapon fun, and I would be one of those fans. It is pretty fun, I must admit, but the rest of the game just does not live up to it's gameplay. The weapons are probably the best and most fun aspect of the game. there isn't much detail, but it's good for fun, if decapitating police officers heads is what you consider fun. Alot of the weapons, though, are very realistic, and that adds to the good points of this game. Most of the different weapons really bring out the fun part of the game, including tear gas and bombs. Alot of guns, like the AK47, are very fun also. Just running around blowing holes in people's chests is, again, pure mindless fun for the people that get high on coffee and stuff like that. I did that once, drove me nuts. The graphics, as I said before with the weapons, are not very detailed. They do not detail pedestrians, they do not detail yourself, whichever caharacter you are, and they do not detail the vehicles, enviroment, and police. It does pretty much not detail anything. they are decent though, and that is why I am giving them a 7. The sound is GREAT. Rockstar lives up to it's reputation in this aspect of the game. The gun noises make great sounds, and all sorts of other weapons are great too. Try the bombs and things like that for the best results. Just pure fun. The sound is the only thing in the game that makes this game seem real. The vehicle sounds are great too, especially when they blow up. Alot of the guys voices sound weird though, but that doesn't matter, the sound is still GREAT! Pretty decent value, for a game like this. I wouldn't call it good though, if you know what I mean. Again, as I said before, It could been one of Rockstar's greatest hits, but it just didn't turn out right. Well, that's my Review for State of Emergency, I hope you've enjoyed, and thank you for reading!
