Dare I say it? Better than Final Fantasy XII

Well maybe not better, but that title catches your eye does it not? However, there is nothing better than running around into a customized robot in an RPG style world, doing almost any major job you can think of on the game, fighting bad guys... being the bad guys.... being the hero... or villain, being a villain who turns hero, or just darn goof around fighting other Steam Powered Robots for fun. This game allows players to literally write their own story, letting each time you play the game to be a little different at least for half a dozen runs through the game. Let alone the game has a few pretty interesting multiplayer features including arena battles, and pool. you can customise your Robot all the way down to the little license plate... yes you heard me the license plate. Perhaps what sets this apart from most RPGs are the battles. No more side scroll take turn combat, or even the also semi boring combat seen on Final Fantasy XII, you are literally the only thing standing in the way of victory, yes you Mr button masher. This game requires player skill not levels, you never have to level up once throughout the whole game. Isn't that worth a 21 gun salute? No matter what most of the game you're not really much more powerful from the beginning of the game to the end, maybe just the weapons you stick on your Mecha, but over all it depends on just how good you pilot it. Good luck using every object on the ground as a weapon including trees, cars, another mecha... yes you can pick the enemy up and beat up the other enemies with one of their friends. No going to reveal any of the jobs, but really the official review should explain much more of that than I will. Just saying, this RPG the game play is to die for. Its very entertaining.
