stella deus is interesting. it's not bad, it's not amazing, but it is a lot of fun to play. but can you find it??

The largest problem with stella deus: gate of eternity is the difficulty you'll have just tracking the game down. It's rather rare, and i think it has only gotten one printing release so far. plus a lot of people were surprised it was ever even released stateside.

Now that aside, the game is typically old school for a strategy game. leveling up has a tendancy to take forever. the shops are mundane, and the enemy sets are creative, but don't really vary much once you see them.

the story is intriguing in a final fantasy x / xenogears kind of theological way. the game makes you question what you would do faced with the end of the world. a big question right? but well worth the debates in philososphy.

the special attacks are worth mentioning here, and the economy of action required to win. but all in all, if you can find it, then give it a go. :)
