Are you really that bored?

At times, this game can be really frustrating and/or want you to kill it... I, for one, was really highly disappointed. Being a newcomber in strategy/rpg's, I was surprised by how fun and addicting Disgaea and Phantom Brave were. Since I have been eyeing this game for the fact that it's the same genre I decided to pick it up one day when I was at the store. For some odd reason, I expected a masterpiece.

The thing that ticks me off to no end is the voice-acting. It's so horrible I couldn't stand it, and usually I can. The music is unoriginal, forgettable, and just plain BLAH.

Control in this game is really mediocre. I mean, when you(just like in Grandia II) press a button in the world map, it pauses for a few seconds before the menu pops up. I know, it's not that big of a deal to most people, but pointing that out was necessary.

Gameplay was actually good, not great, but still fun. The battle system got me confused for a good while, though.

The graphics, I think, are really something. The watercolor look actually works for this game! I like how the characters are designed, and the backgrounds are lush.

All in all, don't expect to love this game. It's ok for people who are really into the genre or a deep, involving storyline (most people would get sick of it) and if you are interested, you are probably better off a renting this.
