Old school - eerie atmosphere

The start of the game puts you in action instantly, as you are at the murder scene. The game already activates all its visuals. It has great graphics, but can be better. Music is excellent but not so often triggered. When the ambient heats up, then great music activates.
Story is great ! You are put in the shoes of Victoria and Gus. The main objective of Adventure company is that the game never gets boring. However, Chicago is Victoria's home and it is almost completely lifeless, and the game is not so interesting in Chicago. On the other side, you are put in the shoes of Gustav McPherson, famous investigator. He's asked to solve the case of serial killer in Prague. If it is only for Gustav, I'd give the game almost perfect 9 score as it is much more interesting than Chicago case.

All in all, the game offers great eerie atmosphere of classic Prague and modern Chicago. The puzlles are not complex but not too easy also so that part of the game is excellent. Cases are logic oriented with no pixel hunting. If a Chicago scene was a little more intriguing, Still life would be a bullseye. As for me, I give it 7.5 score.

Still life is a must have for all adventure gamers. Hop on .....
