Street Fighter III 3rd Strike was great, but having Street Fighter II in the mix. Even better.

Thank you for reading my review! I appreciate it very much. Street Fighter III 3rd Strike came out in 1997, while Street Fighter II came out in the early 1990s. Capcom decided to make a 2-in-1 anniversary disk. It came out in 2004 in the U.S, while it came out in 2005 on the Xbox.

Gameplay: The gameplay is basically the same, only more features to the game. In addition, it has the Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie in the mix. Street Fighter III 3rd Strike has the same amount of characters from the Dreamcast version. You can also choose if you want the CPS1, CPS2, or Arranged music in the game. This feature is in both Street Fighter II and Street Fighter III 3rd Strike. Also in Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, you can choose from 3 Super moves. In Street Fighter II, you can choose from the newest version of each character (Which also has a super), Hyper (Not too much of a difference), Turbo (You can only choose from Chun Li, Ryu, Guile, Ken, Zangief, Balrog, Blanka, M.Bison, Vega, and Sagat), and Normal. The gameplay in Street Fighter II is a lot more entertaining.

Graphics: The graphics are still the pretty, classic graphics you saw back in 1997. I didn't find any problems with the graphics.

Sound: The sounds are also the same, but it never gets old. The Street Fighter III music is a mixture of Hip Hop and R&B, which was okay with me. I was in love with the Character Selection Theme the most. Street Fighter II had good music as well.

Overall: If you have a PS2 or Xbox, I recommend this game. It is still available at Gamestop. All in all, I found Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike to be better than Street Fighter II. Rating: 9.0/10.0
