The Grand Father of fighting games hits Xbox 360, now better than ever!
Choose from a whole range of fighters from the original Ken, Ryu and Chun-li crew, to the newer Vega and Bruno and scrap to your hearts. It retains its original 2D perspective with limited movement opportunities, but this adds to the intense nature of each fight.
What the series benefits from here is the on-line treatment it has received. You can now connect up to XBOX Live and scrap with people all over the world. The computer controlled characters became very predictable after a while, a simple process of flying kick, swiftly followed by a sweep usually did the trick. Now though, it becomes a case of weeding out the new and the best dominating. You cannot get away with the old techniques that saw you destroy the computer, you have to reinvent your technique and make best use of combos and special moves.
All this combined makes this a very worthwhile download and i would recommend it to both those who had the original on the Snes and those who are new to the franchise!
