Thank you for reminding me of how bad I am at Street Fighter.

User Rating: 6 | Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting X360
I have never been very good at any fighting game. You never saw me in line at the local 7-11 kicking anyones ass at Mortal Kombat. I never got used to the extremely complex button combinations in the beloved Dead or Alive series. I wanted Ryu to be MY character but, I never did him any justice.

I do on the other hand love the feeling a game like Street Fighter gives me and I was very happy to see that the game was going to be available on XBL. It is the nostalgia that is going to make this a successful purchase more than anything else. You cannot take a classic like SFII, put it on a next gen console, and expect it to get a 9 (or an 8 for that matter) for a review.

I purchased the game seconds after 1am PST this morning and started playing the game immediately. Although I don't have a lot at this point, I am an Achievement addict so I wanted to try and get some new points before I hit the sack er bed. So, I start playing and without spending too much time on it, it didn't take me too much time to get my fix. And, not too much time to see how bad I suck at these games. I had my ass handed to me by that little girl from China....as well as that freak of nature from Brazil. Damnit.....do I use the d-pad or the damn stick?! Oh well...the game is cool but yes....the presentation is a little dry. I don't care to play a game like this online so, the game is decent. I got sucked into the hype. I have it. Great.

Gamespot did score the game appropriately. Unless you are looking for that feeling you used to have with a game like SFII or can more or less own anyone playing it on XBL, wait for Lumines.
