Back in the last dacade, I used to own a Sega Megadrive (Called the Sega Genesis in America for you yanks). The game I loved playing was Street Fighter 2: Special Champion and it had the same stuff from Street Fighter 2 Turbo: Hyper Fighting. They were both released in 1993 around the Christmas period. I'm happy to say that Street Fighter 2 Turbo: Hyper Fighting has finally arrived onto the Wii Virtual Console and its one of the best 2D fighting games of all time. Its even better than the World Warrior because in this one, you get to play the same 8 fighters and not just that, you can play one of the 4 Bosses and that makes the game more playable. The 4 bosses you can be are Balrog, Vega, Sagat and the Shadaloo Warlord M. Bison.
There are 2 elements in this game you can play they are
Normal - You can play the game just like in Champion Edition with the fighters in their ordinary outfit.
Turbo - You can play the game but with the Turbo settings and the fighters have different colours to their outfits and the gameplay gets faster.
In the multiplayer in Special Champion Edition you can choose vs or vs tornement but on Turbo: Hyper Fighting, you can only do vs.
The only bad in this game is that the graphics are just tiny a bit blurry but thats okay.
The soundtrack is the same from the World Warrior.
Street Fighter 2 Turbo: Hyper Fighting is one of the games you must get for the Wii Virtual Console
It's worth 800 Wii points and thats £5.50 in the UK and $8.00 in the US
