Don't believe the hype about this game. If you have gamefly I strongly suggest you rent it before buying. If you like FIGHTING in fighting games then this isn't for you. The framework is ridiculous period some things you can say well it is a video game but there comes a point in this game where your amazed at what happens and I don't mean that in a good way. Online play is horrible as it takes hours to find a match then everyone's connection is so bad(at least in this game because there's no way everyone and i mean everyone can have a bad connection) that you lose connection before you even get into the fight sometimes and others during the fight. After going through all that hassle and finding a fight you will realize if your playing a ranked match that people will do anything to win, while on my friends PS3 he let me play a ranked match I ran into a person who set the game to 1 30 second round and ran the entire fight it wasn't until ii heard time up did I realize this, I won anyway so it was actually funny. Then if you decide to stop playing ranked matches and go to player matches just to have fun you will soon find out that people there also do anything to win i.e spam projectiles and call it skill and strategy. If your like me and don't much like chasing people back and forth especially on a 2d game and jumping every 2 seconds over a projectiles then you'll ending wishing you never got the game in the 1st place, but if your a person you can tolerate the spamming and running or spam and run yourself then you'll have a blast.
