Street Fighter: The Movie : The Game! one of the most underated fighting games ever!.

When you think of Street Fighter: The Movie I'm sure your memories are not too good. But looking at this game now I see it for what it really is an amazing game. Sure the graphics are not great and, are more along the lines of Mortal Kombat then they are Street Fighter. That is part of this games charm though. The animations in this game are so bad they are good. It is literally like if you tried acting out Street Fighter II. My only gripe graphic wise is Ken. This man looks absolutely nothing like Ken. What where they thinking? Game play wise this game plays just like Street Fighter II. All the special and super moves are intact. One interesting thing about the home version of this game is the removal of Blade. Who is one of Bison's goons. In his place is Blanka, who sadly looks really bad but still not as bad as Ken. One interesting thing about the characters is that there is a new character. Sawada who is some guy that Capcom wanted in the movie. His moves are very weird, and his super is the funniest thing I've seen in a fighting game. It looks like he is going to give you a big ole bear hug, or come up and say BOO! Another odd thing about the characters is the lack of Dhalsim . This game has a mode not found in other Street Fighter games. It is a mode in which you are Guile and you pretty much go through the events of the movie. It also has the normal Arcade and Versus modes. One thing is that the AI is extremely cheap in this game. So chheap infact that at times its not really that fun to play any more. But who plays a fighting game for the single player anyways? Over all I really don't see why this game gets the bad rep that it does. I do not think it is really all that bad. At the very least its good for a few laughs. So my advice to you is to go find a cheap copy, and dust of your Ps1 or Saturn. Call up some friends, and have your self some fun playing Street Fighter: The Movie.
