Street Fighter? Tekken? together? THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE EPIC RIGHT?? WRONG...GUESS AGAIN....AND I WANTED THIS TO BE GOOD
Capcom makes Street Fighter *which in turn* is a good series which is easy to get into and fun to play
Namco makes Tekken *which in turn* is the basis for all good 3D fighters which takes tact and skill to master
Both are gods in the arena, and with the success of the Capcom Vs. series this should be a no-brainer no holds barred fist fight that everyone loves, and combos "go-a-flooping- and kicks do do-hickies- and combos are jaw dropping" etc.....BUT WHAT DO WE GET (crickets........anyone........................hello..........) we get this abomination called a game, if you can get past the stripping of moves from the tekken fighters, and sometimes not working button pressing *yes you heard that right, some buttons work when they want to* ^and before you comment I had this problem with 2 dualshock and 2 sixaxis^ this game is ok (OK) if you play by yourself for fun, and lets be serious this isnt 1992 no one does that anymore :-( a majority of us play online, and for some reason I had as much (well as little) fun playing this alone with the cpu...why? aside from the buttons, and stupid new gem set, and stripping of moves, and sound fading in and out, and overall cheapness (yes you kazuya) of the game that its only good for that....playing online....well I will leave that small turd for you to read in other reviews.....the graphics are nice, hell they seem really inky lol (I said INKY....its said INK-E lol) and the control scheme for the few times they worked seemed like it would take some time to get use to, but seem beastly if masterd, the online mode is lame, due to lag...i mean when people have good connections and there is slight slowdown (yea its slight but in a fighting game that is make or break) and music and sound fade that is a huge turn off....but the intro of music from my HD is nice (thanks for taking a cue from the 360 (no fan-boy-ism over here im equal system loving)
aside from my lack of structure in this review, this game is not a must buy in my opion, if i would recamend this to anyone I would say wait till it drops to the 20 price range....THANK YOU
