Sega have done it. Streets of Rage 2 better than it was before.

Sega Classics series has hit Xbox Live Arcade recently, with promising ports of the games we all know and love. A similar style game to the Streets of Rage trilogy is the Golden Axe series. Renowned as a brilliant but un-nervingly simple, the hack and slash button mashing gameplay is simple to perfect but all in vein as the game lasts a maximum of 20 minutes. Similar buttons and a different setting, you would think Streets Of Rage 2 would be follow suit and be a watered down version of its Genesis predecessor. But no, Sega have learnt not to kill their classics, finally. The 360 arcade version offering a new online co-op and online versus mode, which fails to lag hard like in Golden Axe.
If you've never played this gamebefore, its only 400 points and free for a trial. I can't gaurantee you'll adjust so easily, having a few buttons available doesn't mean this game is easy. Its a more lengthy, tough and solid gaming experience than Golden Axe which you will notice is a more complete arcade game.
