This game is awful. I'm serious from the awful graphics to the awful drab sound to the poor storyline. I'm just going to cut to the chase. This game is a huge dissappointment. It is truly a disgrace to the gaming world. You can probably thank U.S. gold for this. You ever heard of them!? Me either! Somehow they got their hands on Strider. Believe me don't bother with this game. Just play Strider 2 for the playstation.

Good: Um.... yeah...

Bad: The graphics are dry, the sound is just so boring and empty. In between levels it trys to add to the (sarcasm)cutting edge storyline(sarcasm) by having people say a couple words in monotone voices. Just believe me this game is awful. You get really sick of it, I don't even know why I tried to play it.

Well there you have it. Strider for NES, pretty fun. Strider 2 for playsation is awesome. I reccomend them. I DO NOT recommend Journey From Darkness: Striders Return! If I ever see the people from U.S. gold I'm going to spit in their face!
