Way better than the first one!! Director, "CUT. Im sorry, but can you do that intro again with a little more feeli
--The goal is to nail KEY stunts. If you fail to do one you get a strike. Get 5 strikes and you will have to start over but its possable to finish a scene with a few screw ups. Now after you finish a scene you get rated by how many points you built up. I think this is where the game really shines.
--Nailing the key stunts isnt enough to get you the best rating of 5 stars. You also have to do a bunch of crazy stuff I will call Style driving. If you pull off tricks back to back you build up a score multiplier. Your true goal is to make it all the way through the scene without breaking your string of tricks. This is where style comes in. Driving close to other objects, drifting around corners, airtime, and some other stuff all count as tricks and help keep your string going.
--There are lots of ways of using your own style to perform tricks to keep your string going. They way I fill up the time between the Key stunts and they way you choose to do it could be totally different. So I think it lets you flex your creative power and reflexes at seeing things in the environment to trick off of.
--As you earn stars during a scene you unlock paint for your vehichle, the vehichle, a 5 star replay which i have no idea what that is yet, oh yeah and stunt props for the "constructor" or stunt park maker.. As you earn stars on the movie set overall you unlock new movies, commercials, and special stages. Completing commercials usually earn you that vehichle but you cant screw up the scene at all.
--Even when I get enough points to goto the next scene I find myself replaying that scene so i can get a higher score and nail all the things i wanted to nail. Its fun doing it right and then watching it the replay. If you watch the replay of a succesful commercial they even include the voiceovers for the commercial. --After you finish all the scenes of a movie set you then get to watch a cinematic trailer. It might have trouble telling if they are using your actual footage but they arent. Those are just the KEY stunts you were told to perform.
--The only REMOTELY bad thing about the game is that some tricks are time sensitive. If you wait to long you will fall out of frame of the camera. But as long as you keep your string of tricks going it wont be a big deal.
--If your having trouble just take your time and learn all the Key stunts. Then when you have mastered those start using your style to rack up massive points and get your 5 stars. This game is extremely fun and I encourage everyone to ignore gamespots review of it and play it!!
--I think this game is worth owning!! If you dont buy it not for full price you sure as hell better try to pick it up ebay or a bargain bin. Talking about this game I can easiyl see where the future of this game lies. It would be awesome if it would evolve from vehichle stunts to vehichle stunts AND action stunts like jumping off building and fight scenes and what not. That would be insane. Anyways great job THQ and Paradigm Entertainment.
