Sudeki is a good game period. When you first start playing you will think wow this is a great game! Why has Gamespot been so rough on it? Then as the game goes on you run into a few annoyances that make you think why did they do that? One example is the carrying of soul orbs you can only carry 99. Which is something I got to in the shadow world as I used the respawning monsters to practice a little more with all four characters. Turns out when you leave the world you can trade the orbs for weapons for a 25 to 1 ratio. So that leaves you one orb short if you want all four. I was ready to continue the story at that time so I was not going back for one orb. Why couldn’t I carry just one more? Also as pointed out in the review the voice acting is grating to say the least. Ailish being the worst of all and she tends to be the main character in my mind. Combat is fun once you learn the combo moves. However once again it is also frustrating when you glance down to hit the final combo button and the monster side steps and your attack goes spinning into nothingness. But most fights are not lost due to this shortcoming so still enjoyable. So yes the game does not live up to all they hype but all in all as I said it still is a good game and I’m glad to have picked it up.
