Great storyline that deserves more than it is being given
Anyone would be willing to fight for their country. But to fight against your best friend, that is probably one of the decisions that we'd really hope not to make. In the end, Suikoden II's plot doesn't center around having to fight for your country, or against your friend, it's about doing what is right.
There are many characters to recruit which makes for hours of gameplay, alone, trying to find each character's weakness and strength. There are also many towns to explore. A plus in any RPG game.
The music is also one of the high points of this game. The game has a great soundtrack from the busy BGM of Muse city to the peaceful BGM of Ryube Village to the noble-sounding track of the Knights of Matilda.
