The suikoden series is one of the most underrated series of all time, I mean it has a lot to offer in case of story-lining and satisfying RP mechanics , with the exception of suikoden IV every game in the series will have something for RPG fans.

Suikoden V is probably the best new Suikoden to date, it has a cool story, likable characters, simple battle system and cool magics system called runes for those people who are not familiar with it.

I like to add that the game is also blessed with cool graphics and awesome voice acting and superb presentation and not to mention clever dungeon design

however the game has flaws, first the the enemy spawning rate is huge I mean you can't walk for one minute without an enemy appearing, and due to the RP system you can't always run.

and some of the cut-scenes are just mediocre quality at best but there are some cool cut-scenes in this game.

overall this game is worth playing for RPG fans ;)
