to start, this game was what pretty much introduced me to gameing and intorduced me to my all time favorite franchise in the gameing industry. Its a sad thing that my cartrage is still screwy though...

once again your quest is to banish dracula, blah blah blah... thats not new, in fact its never new, but still pleasing to see the adventure through such hardships as: the dungeon! yes the dungeon was the level i got stuck on years back, its evil grasp still making me use cheat codes to jump past this god-awful level.

antics aside, time for my plain old, set-by-set review.

gameplay is very fair, having expanded on earlier castlevanias and introducing the "limp whip". also a much wider variety of enemies, enviroments and bosses created quite an epic journey fromt he outer wall, to the inner sanctum of Dracula's Castlevania.

the graphics are surprisingly good for the time, hell they still look good today. praise thine 2-d format and your bare-bones brillance.

sound. well sound in any castlevania is somethign to admire in any video game. ad this one does not compromise (well at some few points it does, but hey, its all aroudn good). and it still includes the classic beat "rain of blood" and intorduced the now renouned "aquarius" (citation of the castlevania song faq featured on gamefaqs.com).

hell i got this game for free, but with value now, its still very comperable. its definately worth the 60- or so you wold have to shell out for it. definately worth a purchsie, especially to any castlevania die-hard (like me!).

I iked the game quite a lot. hell id have to say the fuzzy memories are only hightened by time. and to consider that playing this beuty recently brought with it valuable video game experience me me quite lot better, and in so, making the game better appealing to me then in the past. i guess im just a sucker though.

thats it review 12 down (i think its 12 i dont really remember... :S)
