You cannot deny that Super Mario 64 is one of the best, if not the best platforming adventure games ever to be made.

I remember in 1996 when I first got my Nintendo 64, I was so stoked. The first games I got were 007 Goldeneye, and Super Mario 64. Both of which, are some of the best games out there. As soon as I put Super Mario 64 in and began to play it, it was like I was sucked into the game just as much as Mario is sucked into the paintings.

The whole idea and mechanics of this game are flawless, and this game is perfect for speed runs. I have never before seen a more perfect speed run done of a game than Super Mario 64.

I am not really going to a full out detailed review of this game, for any gamer on Gamspot has had to of tried Super Mario 64 sometime in their life, and if you haven't...go buy a Nintendo 64, and get this game.

Modern day platformers just aren't the same as they were back in they day, I really want another game to come out on next gen consoles that is as good as Super Mario 64. There is a lot of innovation to be had with this game.
