All around good game.
The gameplay of Mario 64 gives a full feel of free roaming alike to Legend of Zelda. The inviorment is very interactive, and is a great platforming game. The angles are fine at all times, and most parts are not too hard. The fighting part is very simple, you have only a few punches and kicks. Aswell as the classic leap and land.
The story, in short. All leads up to our friend Marios appetite. Mario recives a note inviting him for cake from Princess Toadstool. But when he arrives, oh my the castle is empty. A nasty voie tells him to get lost, as you may have guess the princess is captured again by the same bad guy gang has overran the Mushroom castle.
You get to the levels by hopping into paintings and what have you. You end up in a variety of levels, snowy, lavay(not a word) and lagoony(also not a word). Most of the levels are vast and have lots of places to explore, most also have many challenges that make the game not tedious but very fun. They each have 3 star levels that hold different missions on the same level.
Overall Mario 64 rocks and is definetly worth a play.
