SUPER MARIO ADVANCE 4:SUPER MARIO BROS. 3

This was an instant hit back in the early 90s, this is a remake of one of the most recokonized games out there, Super Mario Bros.3. It was pretty unique compared to the other two Mario games. It introduced a neat little suit system that let Mario do more than just toss fireballs at enemies. There is a super leaf which turns Mario into half animal half plumber. Mario got raccon ears and a tail and strangley Mario could take to the skies with enough running power. There was the frog suit which allowed Mario to be an excellent swimmer, but horrible on land. There was a Tanooki suit which is almost the same as a super leaf except Mario gets a tight racoon costume and was able to turn into a statue so enemies could pass by without hurting Mario at all. Last but not least was an awesome Hammer suit which Mario got to throw hammers which can kill EVERYTHING except fireballs. Which is good since this game can frustarate you A LOT! One other thing this game has is a map in which you can try winning stuff at toad houses and duke it out with annoying Hammer Brothers. Yeah, you'll have some good fun with this game but you might find yourself beating up your GBA due to the frustaration this game will offer you!

To cut a long story short,Bowser's kids have tranformed the kings of each world into animals and it's up to you to go beat up the koopa kids and turn the kings back to normal. Basically you'll need to make it to the end of the stage, sounds easy right? IT ISN'T, this game has some fun levels ranging from medium to HARD REALLY REALLY HARD! But at least you get a cloud that lets you skip the hard levels and a P-Wing letting you fly through the whole level. You'll need to fight enemies that get more tougher to kill after a while. One of the most frustarating enemies are the little koopas that toss bricks at you, you better move fast before you get killed by them again and again. But you'll have fun in this game, most levels are fun and entertaining and full of secrets. There are even scrolling levels. Some of the levels have near impossible jumps and it might take at least 2 gameovers to make it through some levels. Not to worry, there are 3 warp whistles in the game that let you SKIP worlds over to the last world or so. That's nice for frustarating worlds like world 6. You'll be swimming, face some frustarating fortresses and a final level airship for each world before the next world.

The sounds and music are amazing. The sounds are our basic Mario stuff. But the music is extremly good, exciting music awaits in this game. The music seems a little strange but not the music itself. A little muffly so I had to take off a point for that. Other than that most of the music is good. Like it makes a level more fun. Exciting music for scrolling music, action packed airship levels, and much much more. Nice job,Nintendo.

The graphics are very good but not as good as Yoshi's Island. Mario is detailed, while some backgrounds and enemies aren't too detailed the backgrounds are colorful but not Yoshi's Island colorful though. Ground pieces look excellent and so do many pipes and other misic stuff. Nice!

It's a good game and there are nice powerups and items but there can be frustarating spots, just like the other Mario games that were around in the mid and late 80s. If you think you can push aside frustarating spots,go ahead and buy it! Before I leave, here are the pros and cons

Pros
----------
