This game is pretty addicting to say the least.

Even though I can't think of a time where I've played the original Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES, this game is still good in my opinion. If you like Mario and side-scrollers, then this game is absolutely, positively worth the $30 and your time and effort to beat the game. The graphics are pretty good, the gameplay is VERY addicting, the sound is very well fitting for each situation, and the value is, without a doubt, good. If you are interested in getting this game, I would have to say I recommend it, even though I got pretty frustrated and even had to go online to find out how to beat a level.
