Old Mario Classic
revolutionary games in history. Its been a succesful product, a memorable game and has completely changed the gaming experience. And is no surprise that nintendo has created another memorable game, Super Mario Bros 2. Pretty much, Super Mario Bros. 2 is a sequel to the classic Super Mario bros. The storyline tells about Mario wondering around, and then he stubbles apon a mysterious door. Mario opens it, and whoops!!, he falls into a whole new world. Now Mario along with his pals, Luigi,Princess and Toad, explore this strange world of huge turnips, shyguys, Beezuus and a many other weird things to stop the evil Wart. Well, first off, The graphics on SMB 2 is an improvement for the original, Colourful,clearer, more detailed and much better. The sound is some what good, the sound effects are SMB classic, and although the music is good, it can be a bit repetitive, but hey, the music is real catchy. Game play overall is pretty good, its much similiar to the original SMB
the simple jump, run and hopping around blocks. But you will need to learn how to throw certain obejects, such as portal potions, turnips, shells and etc. Of course there are also the 4 characters in which you can play.
1) Mario is the hero, the big man or the real deal, he wears a red shrit and blue suspenders, he basically can jump, throw, and run fast. 2) Luigi is Mario's younger brother, he wears a green shrit and is taller than Mario. Luigi has the ability to jump real high
3) Princess was the gal in distress, in the first SMB, but now it seems she has join the group. She can float high in the skies for a short while
4) Toad is a mushroom sidekick, he can run fast and has good power. The game is pretty good, and is enjoyable, but the problem i had with this game is that it wasnt as good as the first SMB. Sure SMB 2 is an improvent, however it didnt make a huge impact on me as with SMB and with SMB 3 did. This has been problem as well with many other gamers as well. But enough of the cons, Still SMB 2 is still a classic nintendo game, and i won't hate it because of a few minor set backs, SMB 2 is a great mario game, its still in my collection, i still love those SUPER MARIO BROS!!
