You know if this game had never came out then mario and luigi would have a different look in the super mario bros super show( if you know that show). It is because of this game that mario and luigi really started to get their own look(not like the first super mario bros where all they did was Platelet swapping). I think they should have stayed with the look for the characters for the 3 super mario bros, since to me I think they look more colorful and they all have their own style. Like I think luigi should have had his own look and style like in super mario bros 3, instead of just Platelet swapping, I like his floaty jumps they're pretty cool. this was one of my favorite mario games, I don't like it as much as super mario world, or super mario bros 3, but it is still a fun game that has a lot of replay value, or at least to me. I mean if you think about it if it weren't for this game we wouldn't have some of the most popular and well-known nintendo characters and enemies( ex: shy guys,birdo,pidget,pokey, and maybe wart). I'm glad they came out with this game because it started something new, unlike the japanese version of super mario bros 2), I think the american super mario bros. 2 is better than the japanese version( not to sound racist or anything) its just I don't find that one as fun and entertaining like this one(plus its too hard). great game: excellent graphics for a nes game, memorable music and good sound quality, very easy controls, high replay value, and a good amount of tilt! great, memorable, and classic game that will be remembered!
