Completly differentent game style brings an interesting game to the mario legacy.
Even thought this game is claimed to be 'copied' from another same game released in japan, Super Mario Bros 2 is an excellent game that gives a different form of gaming to it's franchise.
If you look at SMB and SMB 3, in comparison with SMB 2, you can see that the second gives you much more of a challenge for the game, you can't just skip 4 levels in about 5 minutes. You have a greater choice of character selections and their attributes. Even thought almost no Mario (world) character (enemies) can be found, at the exception of birdo, you still can get a great feeling of creativity and mario-esque worlds.
A must have for die-hard fans of the mario universe (even thought theres a huge exageration with golf, basketball, soccer and other sports, thankfully Mario universe has a nice mario 64 feel to it which gives a smile to the old-school).
