Mario 2 dosen't stand out to me as a Mario type of game. But rather a uniqe game that alot of people didn't enjoy as much as the other series. I think nintendo was trying to do something different in changing up the series when they made this game. Gameplay - While not the simple jump-stomp as the other mario games Mario 2 gives some decent gameplay. Picking up Veggies and using them as weapons brought some decent gameplay as it is quite different from most games. This game brought alot of different levels, bosses and neat aspects that gives gameplay a overall 8.0. Graphics - The graphics really were good in this game giving us colorful gameplay and invirements. And enemys with detail. While not as good as Mario brothers 3 I think it deserves 9.0 in graphics. Sound - Sound is very good in this game. Sound tracks can always be listened to and effects I can say the same for giving it a overall 9.0. Value 9.0. Overall a game that dosen't give what other mario games brought it's still a fun game that should be in any NES gamers collection. Remember it's Mario's dream that this game takes place not in the world of the Shroom kingdom.
