Super Mario brothers two is a great classic and if you still own a NES, then you must try this game.
Super Mario brothers two stars Mario, who has to save the Princess again. This is yet another Mario title that you will not play for the story, but play for the gameplay. All of the classic enemies that Mario faced is back, such as the goombas and new ones too, such as spiked cactuses. Even the bosses are really cool, they come in all shapes and sizes and they do certain things such as: throwing fireballs and throwing bombs that you have to dodge and kill them.
This is still a 2D platformer, so you just bomp foes on the head, and you can play the game through co-op and the game is pretty lengthy for a platformer, ranging at about 6 hours. The only bad thing is you probably won't come through it again, but considering the other Mario games, this is some good replay value, especially since you can go through all of it through co-op.
The graphics are still in spades with bright cheery 2D platformer graphics, and the sound is also pretty good, with good music. There is no voice acting, but still, music wise this is a great title and the graphics are also great.
Super Mario brothers two is the kind of game that Maro fans should definitely check out. I loved it and the difficulty was perfect, it was never to easy and never to hard, if you own a NES, you need to check out this game.
