Super Mario Bro 3 is one of the best game release for the NES.
Princess peach has been kidnap once again by the evil Bowser. Bowser sent troops to terrorize worlds to try to stop Mario from rescuing her.
Gameplay (10/10)- The Mario series is well known for its 2d side scrolling platform on the NES. Mario 3 is no different, the game has 2 playable characters Mario & Luigi(2 player mode). The game has 8 different worlds with different Environments to each. What’s new in Mario 3, well the game introduces New power ups that Mario could pick up. You find these new power ups in boxes & The treasure box bonus level. There are many of these items like The Kuribo's shoe that protects you from enemies that biting you, The leaf that turn you in to a raccoon which give Mario the ability to fly, The weird Tanooki suit that turns you into a statue that make you invisible for a couple of seconds & The Magical whistle that teleports you to another world. Each world has certain amount of levels to each, a mini boss in between & A boss at the end of the Castle.
Visuals (10/10)- Mario 3 is one of the many games on the NES with great visuals. The environment look great as well as all the enemies in the game. Nintendo did a good job with graphics and the animation, it shows how well the characters move an react when the spot Mario.
Sound (10/10) The game has great music and great sound Fx coming from the NES.
In Conclusion Super Mario Brothers 3 is a fantastic games that bring New addition to the Gameplay. This is the best Mario 2D game. I highly recommend it.
