I may have played this on the SNES and the Game Boy Advance dozens of times and finally I have the chance to look back on the NES version of Super Mario Bros. 3. It was great fun trying it out but it got harder when I got to the tougher levels and my worst and the hardest world on this game of all is World 7- Pipe Maze. The bad about this game is that when you lose all your lives, you have to start all over the levels on that world you just got to and also when your are in the level moving, the screen on the far right is still a bit blank but comes to its normal colour after a little second once you keep moving through the level. I remember the sounds and music also played in the Cartoon series The adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and I loved that as well. I remember watching that show on Channel 4 in the last decade when I was young and it was cool! A lot better than the abysmal live action film with Bob Hoskins and John Lugizmo and Dennis Hopper. Among the other classic favorites Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Mario World all available for the Virtual console, this one fits perfectly and its certainly a must have for your collection of Mario titles for the Virtual Console.
Just for 500 Wii points and thats £3.50 in the UK, it's a good time to play this game before the UK / European release of Super Mario Galaxy on November 16th.
Any Mario fan will be satisfied right now about that when they start playing it.
