this game when it came out would have been the best game ever. but now i deffinately wouldnt say the same..its old in the graphics and controls are a little tricky. the sound is great..but overall i still that the game is absolutely amazing for how old it is. you play as mario and fight through the many stages to rescue peach from bowser the evil dinosaur / turtle. you go through the many lands jumping and pulverizing the gommbas and koopas that inhabi the lands. it is a platformer game that is just like the new super mario bros. it is 2 player aswell which gives it even more oooommmmfffff. the level design is just amazing for its time. it is aslo only $5 or something in australia..maybe $7.50..completely worth it. must have virtual console game. the turning into a foz part aswell is just awesome..and extras like cheats and shortcuts inlevels is always fun to do. so check it out it is awesome.
