The other day I was talking to my friend and she told me she owned two old NES. She agreed to sell me one, and Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt all for 10 bucks. I got home and hooked it all up, popped in the game and the black and white flashing screen came up. For about half an hour. When I finally got the game to work I selected to play Super Mario Bros. and instantly I fell in love with it. I remember playing this from such a long time ago, and I barley remember anything from when I was little. I remembered all the little cheats, all the alternate routes, all the pipe locations. But still found a little bit of difficulty to keep me playing. After a while of awesome old school gaming I decided to give Duck Hunt a try, a game I've never played before. When I turned it off/on the white and black flashing made it's return. So I cleaned it out for a while until it worked again, went down to duck hunt, picked up my Nintendo Zapper and started the game. It's pretty fun and memorable. For a while I couldn't hit a thing, but then I got the hang of it. It's really fun when you get a hit and it's very frustrating to see you dog laughing at you. But all in all it's a fun time for all. So if you have an NES and you've never played this game I say you should pick it up, it's everything you love about old school gaming and more. If you can handle the white and black flashing.
