There's nothing new here, but this compliation is easily on your list of Nes collections to buy.
The bad: Lacks additional features
Imagine if you were back in November of 1988, and you told somebody that there was a compliation featuring the original Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt. They probably rushed down to the local game store and got it before you. That's pretty much the excitment from word of mouth success. In fact, the success of the compliation gave a fraction of the success SMB and DH both got. This compliation is easily one of the best I've ever played, but it doesn't include any additional features, such as sound tests or save features.
Game-play: 9/10
Compared to SMB, Duck Hunt is modestly fun and mildly boring. If it wasn't compared to SMB, Duck Hunt is still addictive. Both games are one of the best Nes games ever, and SMB never gets boring. Duck Hunt, however, easily gets boring by the 50th try, and you'll come to realize you're seeing the same thing over and over again.
Graphics: 10/10
Duck Hunt easily wins this round in the graphics, but either way, both look incredibly beautiful compared to their original versions. Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt did a great job modifying this compliation from the original games.
Sound: 10/10
Great Music!! The music is splendid, and easily amazing. SMB barely wins this round, but Duck Hunt's is still just as sweet.
Camera and Control: 9/10
Duck Hunt wins this, and it's incredible in camera. SMB's control isn't as great as the original's, but it's still very good.
Value: 10/10
The Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt compliation is one of the best classic compliations ever!
Average Score: 9.7/10
There's nothing new here, but this compliation is easily on your list of Nes collections to buy. It features two classic games, great modified graphics, sound, and fun. Look no further for a Nes compliation then The Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt Compliation.
