It's a classic and it was quite revolutionary. The use of the gun made things almost like an arcade.

The platformer Mario game, one of the longest, if not the longest, gaming franchise. Adding Duck Hunt put you in an arcade-like setting, using an actual gaming gun which reads the feedback on the screen and responds to it accordingly, simply astounding for the game's time. Although now-a-days there is all sorts of high definition graphics, this game makes me realize exactly where the new age of gaming comes from.
This game still has me occasionally connecting my Nintendo to my TV and enjoying my gaming beginnings.
Putting these both together into a single game, on the classic Nintendo Entertainment System, a wonderful compilation of classic and revolutionary old-school fun.
