If you are still living in the dark ages of Gaming this is perfect. If you are a new gamer, this is great. It lets you experience a classic that younger gamers, like myself didn't get to experience first hand. Super Mario bros. is the game which really made Nintendo a force to be reckoned with. They were making arcade games an the the NES came along. about 2 months into the NES' life and Super Mario Bros. comes along and was instantly made a classic. The Game Boy Color port is better than this version, as it had extras and a save feature. This version, however is just a NES port, but is that really such a bad thing? 2P mode doesn't get boring either. You can watch your friend as he humiliates himself, or you can go to the toilet. The choice is up to you.

Gameplay-10/10
Basic Platforming at it's best. This may just be the most memorable game ever. The classic Warp Pipe cheat will remain memorable. It's just great. It's kinda hard to describe just how great it is...

Stunning Basic but that also means Stunningly Retro. And I love retro!

Sound-10/10
Will you ever forget that tune? No, you won't. The sound effects have become classics used in millions of Flash cartoons on sites like Newgrounds.

Value-9/10
No save feature, Classic 1P game and watching your mate humiliate himself as he dies on a small jump or a goomba is brilliant. I remember beating some random kid at Glasgow airport at this. Oh that was hilarious. He died on the first goomba on stage 1-1.

Trust me, this isn't in the NES CLASSIC series for nothing.
