This game is definitely a game to pick for the wii these days, especially if you owned the first, and are looking for a good game to play. This game follows the same concept as the first, with the galaxy like surroundings, and space like controls. Most of it feels fresh, but there are instances where it feels like the first one, not that this is a problem, but if you expecting an all out sequel then this is not really a solution. Which brings me to the story. It's the same old formula in a new skin: Peach gets stolen, and Mario gos to the rescue. This plot feels, like its getting a bit stale at times. Not that I'm trying to say this game isn't every bit as good as the first, it has the same excellent visuals that made the first one truly belong on a next gen console, and the quest will keep you going in an action packed several hours, and some of the new stage designs and powerups might just contain some re-playability. As far as story goes its not a sequel, but as far as features and its galaxy style, its an all out game deserving more than just a look at.
