Super Mario Galaxy 2 is what the first was but more
Graphics as it is a sequel you would expect the graphics to be better and they have and are some of the best graphics on the Wii they have improved just not that much but still they look great with great level design some of the levels look a lot like Galaxy's 1 planets but then they still look different nearly all the planets are different to the first games planets just some look similar overall the graphics are some of the best on the Wii every planet has great detail and colour and has better graphics overall than the first.
Gameplay if you played the first you will know how it plays but at the same time it does play different as it has more power ups and you can ride on the back of yoshi he has his own abilities and some planets you need to use him and yoshi is a great addition and has his own power ups like he has different fruits like one that makes him float one that makes a light to find platforms and is overall a great addition the planets are more difficult than the first but more fun there are new power up like one that can go through the ground a spring one that turns you into a ball to break stuff overall it plays much the same as the first just with added power up and yoshi and is just more fun and challenging than the first.
Sound is like the first really good all the music is great with all the mario songs from the old games in here with new ones as well overall Super Mario Galaxy 2 has great sound and music.
Story well you probably already know the story of Mario games by now but it is about princess peach inviting Mario to her castle and again upon arrival bowser shows up and steals princess peach once again and Mario sets of to rescue princess peach again and like the first there are lumas in this one and instead of on a space station you are on a ship the shape of Mario head and there is a purple fat luma called lubba who is the captain of the ship overall the story is not much different to any other Mario game but for a Mario game its good.
Replay there is loads of replay once you finish the game there are loads of stars still to collect and has more replay than the first game and is longer than the first game it about just to finish the game about 10 hours you only need 70 stars to finish the game but there is 240 stars in total to get and will take some time i have just over 120 and that took me 17 hours so your be playing this game for a while and has just loads of replay.
The Good
some of the best Graphics on the Wii/Great Gameplay that is more fun and Challenging than the first/Great Level Design/Loads of Replay/Great Sound and Music/one of the best Platformers on the Wii.
The Bad
sometimes awkward camera angles.
