One of the best Mario games, this one in 3D. It is a must have game with a great adventure.

This is a great adventure game that will last a while. The story line for Super Mario Galaxy is similar to most. Mario receives a note from his beloved Peach to come to the castle, for she has a special gift for him. He arrives and discovers Bowser and a bunch of airships there. Bowser uses a giant UFO to capture Peach's castle right out of the ground. Mario tries to save her, but can't, and she is captured. Mario ends up with a creature called a luma, a queer little star-like creature. The lumas are led by a woman named Rosalina. Mario learns that Bowser gotten away with a of power stars used to power the observatory. To reach Bowser's hideout, Mario has to travel to all around a bunch of galaxies in the universe to collect all the stars in order to power the ship back up and fly to the center of the universe, where he can try and rescue Peach.

Each galaxy contains a bunch of almost planets. Mario has the ability to walk around a spherical object/planet. Sometimes you'll jump in one area and get sucked toward another object or wall. Sometimes Mario will need to get transported by launch stars. There are also powers to fly, shoot fire balls, freeze water to walk across, and much more.

To unlock certain planets you need to feed lumas star bits, collected during the levels by pointing the Wii remote at the screen when you see them. You can replay stages you've beaten whenever you want.

There is multiplayer, but only two people, and no online connection or anything like that.

The graphics are great and each galaxy is gun to play with multiple levels and new challenges. To get all 120 stars is pretty challenging and will take a little while. Once completed, you unlock Luigi and once you get all the stars with him, you'll unlock...

This a new, exciting, adventurous game with a highly anticipated sequel.
